The mission of Esperanza International, Inc. is represented by three goals:

1. To foster a sustainable relationship between Americans and communities marginalized by environmental contamination through the cooperation of students, educators, and professionals, so as to benefit global education, social equity and environmental preservation.

2. To build a coalition of affected communities, public policy experts, scientists, and lawyers who will support the development of legislation promoting environmental sustainability and the protection of individuals from toxic contamination.

3. To develop and disseminate K-16 educational curricula on the multifaceted consequences of natural resource extraction and contamination.
